Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including acute care, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
- Maintain compliance with all state nursing regulations and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Hawaii or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred or equivalent experience
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid passport for travel assignments
