Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocol
- Update and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification and BLS certification
- Tennessee Medical Assistant certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
