Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and obtain accurate medical histories.
- Assist physicians and nurses with clinical procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Manage patient flow in the clinic to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment according to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans and instructions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA or RMA certification preferred.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
