Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, injections, and EKG procedures
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare and sterilize equipment for clinical use
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with healthcare team for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Flexibility to adapt to changing clinic demands
- Weekend availability essential (Sat/Sun shifts)
