Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment follow-ups
- Administer medications and immunizations per protocols
- Handle billing coding and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- 1+ years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- MA license in good standing (MA state)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
