Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, progress, and interventions accurately.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and care instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Indiana.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Computer proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
