Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and taking medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions promptly.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
