Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, medical history reviews, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and minor office surgeries.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Manage patient flow, handle check-in/check-out procedures, and verify insurance.
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Process lab specimens and handle confidential medical records accurately.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
