Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative duties efficiently
- Stock exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Coordinate with insurance providers for billing accuracy
Qualifications
- Current Colorado MA certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional Saturdays
- Pass background check and drug screening
