Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Manage electronic health records (Epic) documentation accurately
- Administer medications and injections per provider protocols
- Coordinate patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for continuity
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current MA certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional patient communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environment
