Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient progress and interventions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the facility.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, health promotion, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Compassion: Strong ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism in high-stress environments.
