Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report patient condition changes
- Assist with medical procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Support nurses in daily care coordination and patient education
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
