Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with exam gowns and drapes.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs as directed by the provider.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Manage patient flow in the reception area to ensure minimal wait times.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
What We Are Looking For
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required.
