Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on urgency and medical necessity
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Manage triage protocols during high-volume periods
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
- EMR proficiency (experience with Epic preferred)
