- Appeal denied claims with proper documentation
- Manage patient payment plans and collections
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams for charge accuracy
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certification (CPC, CBCS, or similar) required
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing
- High typing speed (60+ WPM) with accuracy
