Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims to insurance companies using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits before service delivery
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies through follow-up communications
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient financial data
- Analyze denial trends and implement corrective actions for claim re-submission
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services accurately for billing purposes

Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance claim processes and reimbursement methodologies
