Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and sterile technique
- Operate advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems
- Manage inventory and sterilization of all surgical tools
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams
- Maintain OSHA and JCAHO compliance standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 2+ years operating room experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Familiarity with robotic surgical systems
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
