- Manage the complete revenue cycle management (RCM) process, from patient registration to final payment.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure accurate billing before services are rendered.
- Submit clean claims to commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers via electronic clearinghouses.
- Track claim status, identify root causes of denials, and follow up on unpaid claims to maximize collections.
- Maintain precise medical records and billing documentation within our EMR/EHR systems.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and patient invoices for accuracy.
- Collaborate with front-office staff to resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries promptly.

Responsibilities
- Review and code medical records using ICD-10 and CPT guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Handle patient payments, co-pays, and deductibles accurately.
- Reconcile daily bank deposits and credit card transactions.
- Update patient demographic information as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Medical Billing, Coding, or Health Information Technology.
- Certification (CPC, CBCS, or RHIT) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and claims adjudication.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR software (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, Practice Fusion).
- Strong working knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
