Responsibilities
- Accurately code medical claims using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS systems
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients

- Resolve claim denials and rejections with insurance companies
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and billing documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience
- Certification in medical billing (CPC or CPC-A preferred)
- Proficiency in medical coding systems and billing software
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and billing regulations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
