Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Adhere to hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and state nursing regulations
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Manage emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS/NRP for specific units)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and hospital systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass comprehensive background and health screenings
