- Verify patient eligibility and benefits with insurance providers
- Assign and track CPT/ICD-10 codes under supervision
- Resolve billing discrepancies through patient and provider communication
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and audit trails
- Utilize DenialMax software for claim reprocessing
- Collaborate with coding specialists for complex cases
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no experience required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain AAPC certification within 6 months
