- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Coordinate patient flow between departments and providers efficiently
- Assist new patients with registration processes and digital onboarding
- Handle confidential communications via secure messaging platforms
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical office or healthcare administration experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and telehealth platforms
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to de-escalate situations
- Remote work capability with reliable high-speed internet connection
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in virtual and in-person settings
