Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify identities, and check them in efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the clinic's calendar, including booking appointments, rescheduling, and sending confirmations via phone and email.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and explain benefits and co-pays clearly before services are rendered.
- Equipment Handling: Utilize provided medical reception software and hardware to maintain accurate digital patient records.
- Administrative Support: Handle incoming calls, manage patient inquiries, and coordinate with medical staff for referrals and prescriptions.
- Payment Processing: Collect co-pays and process payments accurately using our secure point-of-sale systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; medical reception certificate or Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical front office or administrative reception role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is highly desired.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients of all backgrounds.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in data entry and patient information management.
