Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and daily health status.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document care activities and report any changes in patient condition immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain certification through our training program).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records (EHR).
