Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates as directed by nursing staff.
- Patient Comfort: Turn, reposition, and assist patients with mobility to prevent bedsores and ensure physical comfort.
- Hydration & Nutrition: Assist patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring they remain hydrated and well-nourished.
- Communication: Maintain clear and accurate communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and changes in condition.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: CNA Certification or willingness to complete our paid training program and state licensing exam.
- License: Current Missouri CNA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed; ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Background: Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
