Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients and their families.
- Report changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff or supervisor immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.
- Document care provided and observations in patient records accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and active Washington State CNA license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health record entry.
- Willingness to complete additional training certifications as required.
