Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Provide personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and report changes in resident behavior, mood, or physical condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Record Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move around the facility, transfer from beds to wheelchairs, and ensure a safe environment for walking.
- Facilitate Activities: Engage residents in social activities, games, and light exercises to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain Hygiene: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and sanitized following health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with no prior healthcare experience who are willing to learn and grow.
- High School Diploma/GED: A high school diploma or general education degree is required.
- Compassionate Nature: A strong desire to help others and demonstrate empathy is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are mandatory.
