Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications according to established protocols.
- Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in examinations and procedures.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with calmness and appropriate medical intervention.
- Participate in continuing education and skill-building workshops to maintain licensure and certification.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
- Current or active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- CPR and BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not required for hire).
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a clinical setting with no prior work experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
