Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor resident health and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed during meal times.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients throughout the night.
- Document patient care activities and vital signs accurately and timely.
- Respond to call lights and assist residents with mobility and transfers.
- Collaborate effectively with the night shift nursing team.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License required.
- CPR and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings is preferred but not always required.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
