Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and treatment areas
- Collaborate with nursing team to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Serve as primary overnight liaison between patients and medical staff
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to night shift availability
