Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention protocols
- Administer medications under nurse supervision
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate resident records and care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Compassionate approach to geriatric care
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
