Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities using electronic health records
- Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure safety protocols are maintained overnight
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and sanitized resident environments following infection control standards
- Report any changes in patient condition or unusual incidents to charge nurses
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
