Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and meal support
- Monitor vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and document observations accurately
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during overnight hours
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks repeatedly
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
