Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor resident vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of assistive devices
- Administer medications accurately under nursing supervision
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach to senior care
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
