Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures under physician supervision
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist with medical equipment maintenance and inventory management
- Coordinate patient flow and communication between departments
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active MA certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
