Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment monitoring
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal outcomes
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor new staff and uphold hospital policies and safety protocols
- Coordinate care transitions between shifts for seamless continuity
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Experience with Epic EMR system (preferred)
