Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately with vigilant monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Document patient records with precision and maintain regulatory compliance
- Respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations during night shift hours
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize advanced nursing skills in specialized units (ICU, ER, Med-Surg)
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS/NRP preferred
- Minimum 1 year of night shift experience in acute care setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response abilities
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
