Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient assessments, interventions, and documentation in acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced critical care protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Precept and mentor new nursing staff to foster continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree preferred; Associate's degree with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in telemetry/ICU setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR documentation systems
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional off-site rotations
