Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention during overnight shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient data accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Mentor junior staff and uphold evidence-based nursing practices
- Respond to critical incidents and coordinate with on-call physicians
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and California nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN degree or equivalent experience with ADN + 2 years
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telehealth monitoring systems
- Proven ability to work independently during high-pressure night shifts
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
- Valid California driver's license for emergency transport if needed
