Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and pharmaceutical products under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing, verification, and record-keeping systems
- Maintain inventory control including ordering, stocking, and rotation of supplies
- Assist patients with prescription inquiries and insurance processing
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary - training provided
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration (or willingness to obtain)
