Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.
- Greet and comfort patients to ensure a positive and stress-free experience.
- Properly label, process, and transport blood specimens to the laboratory.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Update patient medical records accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist the nursing and medical team with daily patient care tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- No prior clinical experience necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer proficiency is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
