Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by performing comprehensive physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (preferred).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Pass a background check and drug screening prior to start.
