Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive symptom assessment via telephone or digital channels.
- Determine the appropriate level of care and route patients to the correct department or provider.
- Document patient interactions, medical history, and triage status accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communicate with patients and families to provide education and reassurance during acute situations.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, telehealth regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick, clinical decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.
- High school diploma or GED required; Nursing degree preferred.
