Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs assessment and accurate patient documentation
- Administer medications and injections following protocols
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with healthcare team
- Handle basic laboratory tests including ECG and phlebotomy
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if required for travel)
