Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance to clients.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure proper adherence to medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the quality of life for seniors.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or agency.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities using a personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to complete paid certification training programs.
