Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Manage patient scheduling, records, and inventory of dental supplies
- Provide chairside support including suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient comfort
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment
- Delceive post-procedure instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided if not currently certified)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid training program (8-12 weeks)
