Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments to determine medical urgency and prioritize care
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and vital signs accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Manage patient flow through the emergency department efficiently
- Provide clear communication to patients, families, and care teams
- Initiate emergency protocols for critical conditions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital regulations
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong triage and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Electronic medical record proficiency
