Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative work and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital X-ray systems
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Manage patient records and scheduling using PracticeWorks software
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take impressions and pour study models for prosthetics
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods (6-8 hours)
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
