Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill prescriptions accurately under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and verifying pharmaceutical products.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information for billing purposes.
- Operate pharmacy dispensing software and medical equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and colleagues.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain or currently hold a Pharmacy Technician certification (preferred but not mandatory for training).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
