Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, prepare, and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
- Manage pharmacy inventory levels, including stocking shelves and processing returns.
- Assist patients with medication questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate pharmacy dispensing software and POS systems efficiently.
- Prepare insurance claim forms and handle reimbursements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain or maintain a valid Pharmacy Technician license (training provided).
